Getting Ready for Your Odd Delivery

Before We Get Making…

There are a few quick things we’d love you to check before your order enters production, including your measurements, bed base suitability and access for delivery.

1. Double-check your measurements

Please make sure the dimensions you’ve ordered are correct. As every order is made specifically for you, changes become much more difficult once production has begun and make incur you additional costs to change it at a later date.

If you’re not sure, just reply to your order confirmation and we’ll happily check everything with you.

2. Check your existing bed base (Mattress orders)

If you’re buying one of our mattresses for an existing bed, it’s important your bed base provides the right support. A suitable base will help your mattress perform at its best and maximise its lifespan. This is particularly important to check if your intended base has slats.

3. Check access to your bedroom

Please make sure your new bed or mattress can actually get to where it’s going. Think about:

• Staircases
• Tight corners
• Doorways
• Loft conversions
• Bed nooks
• Narrow hallways

4. Know what happens on delivery day

It’s worth taking a couple of minutes to familiarise yourself with our delivery T&Cs before the big day. Our delivery team will:

✔ Deliver your order to your room of choice
✔ Assemble beds and bases where applicable
✔ Floor standing headboards or strut mounted when used with an Odd Company base

They won’t:
✗ Fit wall-mounted headboards
✗ Remove doors or windows
✗ Deliver beyond the first floor without prior agreement. If your bedroom is above the first floor, please notify us as standard passenger lifts are rarely large enough for a mattress so a suitable service lift or alternative access may be required.
