As Black Friday approaches, a question I’ve been asked repeatedly is, “Will you be offering any Black Friday deals?” My response has been consistent: “No, sorry, we won’t be.” But the truth is, I’m not sorry at all. Here’s why.

We don’t offer discounts because each of our products reflects the time, dedication, and craftsmanship poured into making them by hand. Discounting them would undervalue that. So we’re doing something even more meaningful. We’re asking you to “Give it a rest”.

From November 21st to December 5th, for every mattress or bed sold on our website, we’ll be donating a mattress to Zarach, a charity devoted to ending child bed poverty in the UK. Through this Black Friday initiative in 2024 we were able to donate 20 mattresses to Zarach.

With over 900,000 children without a proper bed to sleep in, this is an issue that demands attention. Children are sleeping on cold floors, cramped sofas, or squeezed into beds shared with multiple family members. This sleep poverty impacts their health, concentration, and success in school, setting them back before they even have a chance to get ahead.

Since 2017, Zarach has been on a mission to change this reality. To date, they’ve delivered over 10,000 beds, helping provide children with the comfort, safety, and stability they need to thrive. This Black Friday, we’re honoured to support their work and contribute to their life-changing mission.
