Half of British adults suffer from sleep problems
If you have trouble nodding off at night, you’re not alone according to new research from the University of Glasgow which has revealed 51% of Brits have trouble sleeping.

Women struggle more than men, with three quarters of women saying that they have problems sleeping compared to a quarter of men.
Not getting enough good quality sleep will have an effect on you the next day, with 77% of people reporting that they have problems concentrating and 64% feeling less productive at work after having a bad night.
“Living with poor sleep and its consequences is not only very common, but it is all likelihood degrading Britain’s health,” says Professor Colin Espie, who worked on the study.
“Insomnia affects people’s quality of life during the day, not just their sleep at night.”
