In the event of a fault or defect in manufacturing within 12 months of the date of purchase we will repair or replace completely free of charge. Please note that faults resulting from misuse of product will not be covered with this offer.
If a fault is discovered or appears after the first 12 months but within the five year guarantee period The Odd Company will have the right and discretion to repair or to replace the product, charging you for one fifth of the current retail price multiplied by the total number of years you have owned the mattress, divan or base.
The Odd Company reserves the right to refuse this offer if the defect is caused by misuse or where the product has become soiled, insanitary or has been subjected to excessive wear and tear.
Where a divan base only or a mattress only is replaced, The Odd Company will endeavour to match the fabric but reserve the right to substitute alternative material.
This guarantee does not cover a mattresses which is used on a non Odd Company bed base or divan base. Please follow the care instructions to ensure your guarantee remains valid.
The terms of this guarantee does not affect the purchasers statutory rights.
Certain items are excluded from our returns policy for health protection or hygiene purposes once the sealed packaging has been opened, unless the item is found to be faulty. These products are mattresses, duvets, pillows, mattress toppers, mattress protectors and bed linen.
We ask that you return products to us unused, unwashed and with its original packaging and seal intact. Return of an item is at your own cost unless the item is faulty.
The Odd Mattress Company Ltd. do not give refunds on the following items:
• Items returned after 28 days.
• Damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 14 days.
• Bespoke pieces – products that are made to your unique specification or that are personalised for you, including made-to-measure Mattresses, Headboards, Bedsteads, Divans, Furniture Accessories or any other bespoke items, unless the item is faulty.
• Mattresses cannot be returned once taken out of the original packaging for hygiene reasons.
This does not affect your statutory rights to cancel or your legal rights in relation to faulty products.
