Assembling your bed base
Assembling your Odd Company bed base is quick and straightforward. Follow these four simple steps to ensure your base is fitted securely, level, and perfectly aligned with your bed frame.

- Screw driver

1. Unfold the Base
Unfold the base on the bed frame, making sure it sits squarely and evenly on all sides of the bed.
Check that the edges of the base align neatly with the bed frame.
2. Locate the Cross Slats
Find the wooden cross slats at each end of the base.
Each slat runs across the full width of the bed and should be positioned around 6 inches (15 cm) from each end.
3. Mark the Base
On the underside of the base, mark where each wooden cross slat meets the side rails of the bed — one mark in each corner.
This will help you correctly align the fixing blocks later
4. Attach the Blocks
Turn the base over and screw the four supplied blocks into the wooden cross slats along the marked lines.
Once fitted, these blocks will hold the base securely in place and prevent movement during use.
